Tucson & Oro Valley Legal Fees

When you retain an attorney, you deserve to have a clear understanding of how fees will be charged.  I provide for each client a detailed retention letter agreement that discusses how my fee will be determined, as well as how costs will be handled.  I will go over fees and costs at the outset of our engagement, and you should never hesitate to ask me any questions that you might have about the scope of legal services provided, fees, or costs.

In many matters, such as the creation of wills, trusts, healthcare powers of attorney, living wills, and business formation, I typically will charge a fixed fee.  In other matters, particularly those in which the time required may not be easy to estimate at the outset, fees may be charged on a per hour basis.  Occasionally, fees are based upon other conditions, and, in very rare circumstances, a contingent fee may be the basis of the engagement.

The retention agreement between you and this firm will serve as the authoritative contract governing this firm’s services to you.

How I Keep Fees Reasonable

I believe that all attorneys should endeavor to keep fees reasonable.

Towards this end, I:

Multiple lawyers can sometimes make it harder to best serve a client, as in some cases, there will not be a single lawyer who will understand the full facts and circumstances of a client’s matter.  As the sole firm attorney, I will be familiar with all aspects of your matter.

I would look forward to having the opportunity to meet you and learn about your legal matter.

Call Me or Stop By My Office

I’m a native Midwesterner, having lived most of my life in Minnesota. I would look forward to meeting you, and learning about how I may be of service to you.
